homework-3 : Professions

  1. Aerospace engineerdesigns aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, missiles, and systems for national defense. In addition, they test prototypes to make sure they function according to design.
  2. Electrical engineer - designs and develops new electricalequipment, solves problems and tests equipment. They work with all kinds of electronic devices, from the smallest pocket devices to large supercomputers.
  3. Electronics engineeranalyze the requirements and costs of electrical systems
  4. Architectural engineer - apply science and technology to the real world by designing buildings that enhance our standard of living and improve our quality of life.
  5. Chemical engineer - develop and design chemical manufacturing processes . Apply the principles of chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics to solve problems that involve the production or use of chemicals, fuel, drugs, food, and many other products .
  6. Civil engineer - create, improve and protect the environment in which we live. They plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbours, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, water and sewerage systems.
  7. Mechanical engineer - design power-producing machines, such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines, as well as power-using machines, such as refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
  8. Biolmedical engineer - Design systems and products, such as artificial organs, artificial devices that replace body parts, and machines for diagnosing medical problems. Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
  9. Mining - Supervising the construction of mine shafts and tunnels. Designing mining equipment.
  10. Geologist - studies earth processes such as earthquakes, landslides, floods, and volcanic eruptions to survey land and draw up safe building plans.
  11. Software engineer - apply the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and the systems that enable computers to perform their many applications.
  12. Hardware - research, design, develop, and test computer systems and components such as processors, circuit boards, memory devices, networks, and routers. By creating new directions in computer hardware, theseengineers create rapid advances in computer technology.
  13. Geophysical Engineering - is the scientific method behind locating and extracting different natural resources from the earth, including ores, minerals, precious gems, water, or gases.
